The alternative is making it a felony to loiter uninsured on hospital property which is also possible. As we are getting really good at this as a society.

They will also stabilize a patient with a nice bag of fluids and bakeract them so they can go die while waiting for their judicial review. This happens a lot when homeless and uninsured become terminally ill.

For a broken arm or leg or cold tho. A homeless person may do ok.

There's also the whole complication of the opioid crisis. So uhm. Yeah....

A lot of hospital employees are becoming really selective about who they want to save too.
