The days off, the respect, the joy. People get paid less to shovel shit 50 hours a week. Maybe don’t have 40% of the union members as admins and you could pay actual teachers decently. Oh right, the way they go about it causes a lot more racism than solves racism. Seems counterintuitive. I think I just get to this point and chalk it up to the crazies so I just ignore it. Now that DeSantis is using it politically I wonder if this dumb thing is actually persisting more in schools to where it is a real problem or if its just a political tool like the 1 trans dude breaking all those swimming records.
