Just those extra death alone puts it between 1 and 2%

Edit- for the uninformed, covid-19 attacks the ACE2 cell which is found in a few places in your body. The higher rate of death for men is because it's in our nuts. Looks like Dr. Luc Montagnier, joint nobel recipient for discovery of HIV, has looked into my theory about genomic splicing stated here earlier, and has concluded that the genome is a composite of several known organisms. If you get to hide in your home and receive unemployment, and if we’re collectively agreeing this virus is so dangerous that everyone needs to “shelter in place,” then people who are forced to have massive amounts of human contact deserve hazard pay. If you disagree, send your unemployment and $1200 check back to the US treasury. Otherwise, write your congressman asking for healthcare workers to receive hazard pay.

Well the ICU tends to be where the 20% of those "good" nurses end up.

Assuming you aren't a geriatric, chances are this virus isn't going to kill you or cause any lasting damage. But it's a roll of the die, and there's a non-negligible chance your body's immune system just happens to be incompatible with Covid-19 or you have some unknown underlying arrhythmia and you die. He’s a CRNA. His number one complaint was people treating nurses like room service. My son is intelligent and was good at his job. His wife is too, although she’s in pediatrics because she doesn’t want to deal with obese people.
