This. The few cases that were reported mid-month in Upstate NY were attributed to New Orleans which is now seeing a similar rise in confirmed cases as NYC, likely because of Mardi Gras celebrations. Also, apparently there's a good chance this whole thing worsens in autumn/winter after lessening over the summer months. Would not plan on travelling to see relatives for Thanksgiving.

Our morgue was full two days ago. The number of suspected and positive patients are significant. And it takes a lot of resources to care for all of them. But yes, absolutely no family or patients that don’t need to be hospitalized are allowed to stay. So it’s not “crowded.”

A woman standing closer reached for it and took it just a second before me. I was like fuck but then I noticed it was her second package so I held out my hand.

She looked at me and I looked at her; it's weird just seeing the eyes and not seeing the expression her mouth made. She gave me the second package and I said thank you. Big signs everywhere, One Package of Paper Goods Per Customer.

When I got home I washed her dirty hand prints off and put the package down in the store room. For later.

This only happens 3.38% of the time so I'm really really blessed considering this is my third and final time. What really makes it joyous is that I searched my memory long and hard and couldn't find one single thing. All my years as an altar boy and lector, and you know only positive memories graced by benevolent robed figures.

My favorites were reading Paul's Letters to the Corinthians. Everyone knows about his Letters to the Romans but they were long and obsequious and kind of meandered.
