It was overall way better than the first debate. You could actually hear each candidates' answer, and that wasn't good for biden. Trump had way more restraint and composure.

One of the problems with the modern family is that we now shunt off the elderly to facilities instead of having them die at home and having their tallow made into candles like in the old days.

What this means is that the general population is not very aware of what happens when you get to be that age. Children no longer spend extended time with the droolers, that's embarrassing when you're paying some place in Florida to bury that sight.

Now I'm not advocating for some Geriatric Logan' Run - there is no magical age when someone becomes senile. Oliver Wendell Holmes was 90 when he retired from the Supreme Court and as far as I can tell he was pretty aware of what was going on, at least based on his last writings. On the other hand John Roberts is only 65 and we can all plainly see he has lost his motherfucking mind already. So you can never tell.

Trump did not handle the pandemic well, I dont think you have to say he did to still support him either. He's also radical, and I think that's objective.

I keep seeing this but nobody provides their expect opinion on how it could have been handled better... I mean pretty much shutting down the country and banning all travel from China seemed like a pretty strong approach to me. The democrats called him racist for banning travel from China. Their original estimate was 2 million dead and we are at only 200kish~ (which is still high but comparatively only 10% of the original estimate.. seems pretty good tbh)? So if the democrats were in power during the original outbreak they wouldn't of banned travel from China and it most likely would have been much worse.

It's also far more nuanced that people make it seem. Like trump had the power to make 100% of the decisions. Newsflash the president is a powerful position, but they are not an emporer. There are hundreds.. thousands of people in postions in various cabinets and agencies that made seperate decisions which all affected the outcome of the pandemic. Its not all on trumps shoulder like the liberal media is conveniently making it seem for political purposes and to paint a narrative that sheep are eating up.

I'm not necessarily a trump supporter (and damn sure not a biden supporter) but if you look at it objectively he really did about the best anybody could have done in that position short of declaring martial law and shitting all over constitutional rights and amendments and basically making it illegal to leave your home for months, which would have done WAY more damage to the country than covid already has. It's also been proven that covid death numbers have been inflated artificially and anybody who died that tested positive for covid was listed as a covid death even if they died of heart disease or other pre-existing medical problems (that are not an effect of covid)

Again I'm not a huge fan of trump, there were far better candidates on the republican and democratic side, but when I see political discussions on trump like 95% of the negative comments and opinions about him are regurgitated talking points heard on CNN or other liberal media outlets and when you actually research it are completely wrong or taken out of context or skewed. A really good example is the "fine people on both sides" narrative that was spewed for months claiming Trump was "supporting white supremacy". That shit was regurgitated for months.. and still is but when I finally went and watched the whole clip with all the context I was literally disgusted at how easily media is able to influence millions of sheep who get all their "facts" from liberal media and do 0% research before they run around screaming at conservatives spewing vitriol and insults using these so called "facts" as their argument.

3. Do not seize PPE orders that states have paid for and reallocate/redirect them. And if you do, certainly don't send the gear overseas. And if you do that, certainly don't send the PPE to your creditors.

4. Do not lie to the public about the severity of the disease because you're scared a Wall Street panic response (which is coming anyway) will hurt your personal reelection aspirations.

5. Don't spread conspiracy theories and unsubstantiated claims about the efficacy of certain treatments -- you're not a medical doctor.

6. Don't be an overt racist so that every executive order you give on international travel and immigration is scrutinized by the courts and politicized by your opponents. Intent matters under the law.

Trump had a golden opportunity. Take command. Be humbled, measured, and calm. Call the American people together and rally us as a nation to endure and persevere. Doing just those few things gets you a long way -- ask Rudy. But no, he had to make it about him just like he does everything else.

Well you lost me now, dropping the ball early on is the worst thing in a rapidly spreading virus. That is the critical point. You can handle it much easier if you are strict on the initial outbreak. You can say they would have handled it better on but that comes down to a matter of opinion and I just completely disagree. Blaming the riots on Trump is an effective scapegoat in todays climate but there were many underlying issues leading up to the still ongoing riots that Trump had no control over. Yes, that sounds wonderful. What are the realities of actually making that happen? What sorts of resources have to be mined? What sorts of materials are required to manufacture solar panels? How much carbon is expelled by their manufacture? Making new forms of energy requires expenditure of currently available forms of energy; IE: fossil fuels. It's amazing that people still can't grasp simple probability. A 17% chance is the same as rolling a 6 sided die and getting the result you wanted. The polls were accurate, Hillary did win the popular vote, and by a similar margin to that predicted by polls.

Where the analysis failed to consider was the distribution of the votes, which allowed the unpopular candidate to win.

I bet much of the oversight from the '16 pollers has been amended, so regional predictions are made more accurately. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be new oversights in current election though.
