DOt dmg with snare/root
wasnt dot dmg cut down to like 2/3 dmg if the target wasnt rooted in classic? i seem to remember something like that.

Yes it was. Only did full dmg if mob was rooted or feared (running away).
Not sure how long into classic this got introduced, but it surely was quite some time before Kunark release. | ||

I'm almost positive this hit after kunark. I distinctly remember aoe kiting huge amounts of raptors on my bard in TD when this nerf came in and destroyed it.

Correction. Dot damage reduction was implemented september 13th 1999.
