Default Variance could dissapear if you guys agrees to a rotation

just saying, variance could easily be removed.

if you get 10 guilds to agree to it, then im sure they would remove it.

It was pretty much added because two guilds would poopsock nagafen and vox and create a huge headache for staff.


Or come up with a decent agreement that doesnt resolve around tracking/poopsocking and ask nilbog to remove it. Obviously everybody needs to agree.

maybe they might even let us bind in permafrost/other raid zones too!

Variance doesn't need to be so long, but it's definitely a good thing. Before variance it was 200 people standing on a spawn point with auto attack on and the GMs sort through who got FTE after the mob died. Variance is annoying, but absolutely necessary on this server. IMO with extended windows they can cut variance in half very easily, maybe more.

FTE snipe. Not fun or fair. Yes we all laugh when TMO loses a mob to it because they are a pox on the server and deserve whatever happens to them, regardless it's still something that shouldn't exist when another guild is the only group with a legit raid force at a mob.

FTE is the most unimmersive thing to exist on the server, moreso than poopsocking, moreso than variance. I'd almost pick instancing over it I hate it so much.

Agree, dumbest idea ever for a classic server. It's why a lot of people are discouraged to raid here, not to mention the one server blue for 3yrs on Kunark content doesn't help. If they had a second blue server to spread the load with rule sets to start so no more BS goes on then it would be fantastic.
