Variance could dissapear if you guys agrees to a rotation
 
just saying, variance could easily be removed.

if you get 10 guilds to agree to it, then im sure they would remove it.

It was pretty much added because two guilds would poopsock nagafen and vox and create a huge headache for staff.


Or come up with a decent agreement that doesnt resolve around tracking/poopsocking and ask nilbog to remove it. Obviously everybody needs to agree.

I would do almost anything to get rid of that fucking variance....


worst idea ever, never worked, still doesn't, and won't but hey lets just keep increasing the time maybe that'll do it!

Variance doesn't need to be so long, but it's definitely a good thing. Before variance it was 200 people standing on a spawn point with auto attack on and the GMs sort through who got FTE after the mob died. Variance is annoying, but absolutely necessary on this server. IMO with extended windows they can cut variance in half very easily, maybe more.

And it absolutely works. It stops poopsocking on basically every single mob except VS.

not when I was playing and they first implimented it, all it did was take away any chance casual guilds had at a mob because the top 2 guild would sock for 2 days straight and casual guilds just couldn't do it. They might sneak a mob here and there but without variance they would at least have a fair chance at fte. Just like it was supposed to be in classic.
