Hi Jammer.

I had a similar thing happen after a zone loading crash to desktop.
When I attempted to log back in and click play, I experienced what you have.

They say it's often connection related ; high ping, packet loss, etcetc.

Do you ever get the error 1017 L Cannot Login to the EverQuest server.

?
