I was playing pool in a graphics class listening to a bunch of idiots talk about how they were going to join the military because of it. A very close friend of mine is now dead and 3 others are seriously injured because some jackass with a diaper on his head couldn't get it through his thick skull that fighting a centuries old religious war was totally futile.

I'm quite honestly sick of hearing about 9/11. Political higher powers are so damned corrupt as of the past 20 years that you have no idea what you can and can't believe. Yea, it sucks, a lot of innocent people died, and a lot of selfless heroes risked their own lives to try to save them. World disasters are becoming more obnoxious and standard as far as how things work than Goddam teenage-party horror movies.

People get so wrapped up in the media bullshit with everything that they lose track of their own common sense and free thinking. Look at the recent hurricane. I can't speak for the rest of the country but New England was put into panic mode over what amounted to a heavy rain and the lights being out for a couple days. Big fucking deal, we've had worse, but all of a sudden because some moron on the TV tells you bad things are going to happen (because people are, nowadays, too damn stupid to look out a window) that they feel the need to buy 100 flashlights for a rain storm. I'm sure people down south had it much worse, but these were local news stations here in CT making people crazy with fear.

I was in 7th grade, but I went to the dentist to get my teeth checked out (4 cavities). The dentist was saying 'oh my God' and I had no idea what he was talking about, I thought it was my teeth.

My dad fought in Vietnam, he saw the first plane and told Mom nobody would ever attack on American soil, it had to be an accident, and then he saw the second plane. He was very somber and watched it almost all day.

Was passed out in a chair at a friends house due to heavy drinking the night before. He smacked me and said "I thought you'd like to know we're being attacked." and walked off. That got my attention and I went to see what was going on in time to see plane two hit. For some reason he woke up early that day and decided to watch the Today show and saw the first plane hit live.

After a couple hours of watching the news we went and ate lunch, across the street was a gas station with cars stretched out for a mile in line for gas. Everyone was panicking that gas prices were going to sky rocket. They did too only because everyone panicked and bought it all, so the few places that had gas left raised their prices to insane amounts (at the time $5 was insane).

I was in 8th grade at the time. The bell had just rang and i was shuffling across the hall to my 2nd period. After some bullshitting in the hallway, i walk in to my history class and notice the tv is on. i announced "sweet, movie day?" and, upon closer inspection(and a few words frm my teacher), i was told a plane had hit the world trade center in what appeared to be a terrorist attack. I found out later that day that our president at the time, George Bush Jr., was in my town when the attacks happened, reading a fucking book to kindergarten students! Apparently, upon notification of the first plane hitting, he continued reading..it took the second plane to hit for him to get his ass in gear and high tail out of Florida. inb4 9/11 wuzaninsidejob
