How does Rage of Zomm and Dyzil's Decoy work?

Dyzils pets best use that I have been doing for ages is for powerleveling others. With its increased mitigation due to its higher level than a 49 fire, and has a higher dmg shield.

Spawn Pet, wait for it to cast fire shield...
Send Pet on red con to the powerlevelee
Watch it burn it down with its dmg shield and medicore melee
Reclaim Energy clicky on the pet at 5% to regain 90+% of your mana back in most cases (Contingent on the level of mob your killing but level 39 and under mobs dont dmg this pet much)

Powerlevel finishes mob out of group for full exp.

This method works very well in populated melee type NPC, high zem zones literally getting about any class through 20-50 in quick time.

With a mage having potg, you really never run oom powerleveling anyone doing this, just need a ton of malachite on ya.
