I'm thinking now that Barbarian might be the play, if only because I'm not sure I can do the Swiftclaw Sash quest as an evil race+diety. Anyone know if there are reasonable ways to raise faction with Kejek Village/Peacekeepers without already being Dubious for them? Doesn't seem possible from what I see on the wiki.

I came to the same conclusion with my self found iksar shadowknight. It did not seem like the swiftclaw sash was an option, which kinda bummed me out and killed my momentum.

If the faction required for the quest is indifferent or lower, there is a way you can use clickie invis while you have the trade window up. You can buy https://wiki.project1999.com/Cloudy_Potion from merchants.

I forgot the exact steps for how to do it since it has been a few years, but I have done multiple turn-ins for other quests this way. But it won't work of they attack you.

This stopped working for me a long while back. I don't know whether it is UI dependant, or there was a particular way to click to make it work.

You should be able to use the hide skill, or have someone else invis you. But like you said only doable if the mob doesn't attack you which wouldn't be possible at a level range that makes sense.

Pick whatever is most fun as SSF. You will likely spend more time than normal levelling 1-50 so I think starting zones matter. I'd go Iksar. Good AC, regen is great, killer starting area, some lower end quests.

Personally I'd avoid Iksar. With Wort Pots you should be able to camp JBB. Since you can't get Epic as SSF, JBB would be your best mana-free damage clickie.

Haha, at what level? How much time spent farming plat to make wort pots to solo that camp to get JBB to finish off a few more levels? And what if JBB drop is unlucky?

Better off farming 30k or w/e it is to buy it or farm 100k 1-50 and buying Shaman epic at 50.

I guess if SSF means you can't buy any item... skip JBB and epic, not happening or not worth.

Yea camping wort pots to solo jbb to have it for a few more levels probably isn’t worth it. Maybe something to get at 60 to add to your toolkit if doing ssf solo challenges. Going troll would make the most sense to get regen snare neck and the chance to use jbb but sounds like op is leaning towards barb. I’d seriously consider troll/iksar though as regen is going to be noticeable but not necessary of course. Cool thing about iksar would be camping the guardian robe at 60.

It seems like the big final spells are gonna be nearly impossible to get like torp/bane/pox but hitting 60 isn’t hard the 49 spells should get you there pretty easily if you do basic mobs like nyzil.

This thread is SSF, so OP won't be able to buy from other players if they stick to it. I still use JBB at 60 when I am raid geared with Epic.

JBB would be one of the best items you could get as an SSF Shaman. Roll Troll for Regen.
