Break it off with a girl in a totally mature and unscandalous way because you don't really click? She can say anything she wants about you on that app and there's really no way to confirm or deny what she's saying in the public mind. It's like a whole new avenue for false misconduct allegations.

It really was complete insanity. Or more like a mixture of insanity and stupidity.

The flu is like 80% as dangerous as covid, and is actually more dangerous for kids and healthy people than covid, but nobody ever acted like the sky was falling because you aren't wearing your "flu mask" when you go to the store. I understand the hysteria at the beginning, but after like August of 2020 it was just ridiculous to still be behaving that way.

I masked longer than most but not because I thought it protected me from others but the opposite.

Haven't made one of these in awhile, remind me in a year to stumble through the WONDER tool for 2024. It's trending in the right direction.

Yeah I remember all the deaths from the Flu each year. It's crazy how many healthy people die from the flu each year.

Shit-takes like this prove you never had anyone in your life get really bad Covid.

My coworker, a healthy 45 year old man who is physically fit and eats an extremely healthy diet was on his fucking deathbed from Covid. This guy was the pinnacle of health. He never fully recovered - still experiences the brain fog, trouble breathing and lack of energy to this day.

This was very early on, maybe June 2020 when this happened. There are so many stories of people like him. It didn't just kill the feeble elderly people.
