To me, splitting Velium belongs in the Classic+ category: it should remain on Blue. It is a little newer than the UI/pet window (about a year newer, so definitely less classic), but it clearly belongs in the game: all other major tradeskill ores are splittable. It's just that tradeskills were the very last priority for Verant in that era, so it took them over a year to fix something that should have been fixed in classic.

I'd hope this same logic could be used to convince them to add a few elements of the June 2002 patch to Blue. If they devised a solution during our "classic" era (after that 2001 Fan Faire convention) and it came out afterwards because it was a small feature in a much larger patch, I think it's very reasonable to include it.
