Default dgvoodoo dynamic light bug

Hey I've set mipmaps to on in dgvoodoo but whenever I do the dynamic player lights (Lightstones/firebettle eyes/etc) break and turn into spotlights, below is the setting that causes this and a picture of the problem.

I know its a long shot but does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks for responding, i found that post while searching for a fix to my problem and thats not the same issue im having, nothing in the game is missing textures or black, its just that having dgvoodoo generate mipmaps somehow causes the player lighting effect be mipmapped in a glitched way. I think dgvoodoo is altering the player light shader in such a way that makes it a big square, and i dont exactly know how to edit the shader files without some sort of master file because i think they are all pre compiled. I heard that the p1999 devs have a way to recompile them but idk how to do it myself.
