What exactly is your evidence that I hacked? This is the first time anyone has ever accused me of hacking. I also never "bragged" about killing anyone so much as used it to prove how easy pvp is on eqemu.

Well, since you asked for it:

See: post above.

Red, blue, yellow, green - these are just labels. It doesn't change that players from all sides are using hacks. Your anti-PVP crusade is tiresome to read pal. I know you can't possibly be so naive to think that hacking isn't nearly as pervasive on a blue server. Just because they aren't warping doesn't mean it isn't happening.

So what is it then? Some broken-record troll attempt? Because if you're going to get behind someone like geegoo as your bluebie savior and slayer of red, you might want to first know who the fuck you're supporting.

That's only about a third of the log.
I have no idea what half this shit means but I'm going to try defending myself anyway. I do know that Freakyuno said these logs provide a lot of false positives. I have absolutely never hacked and I'm willing to bet there are logs that claim every single player who played a significant amount of time hacked.

Also, targeting someone beyond the clip plane is only evidence of hacking if you're a complete dipshit or you haven't played the game for more than two seconds. Are you aware of the bug where when you zone in you often see a "ghost" of an NPC/PC in the zone? This is a bug on every eqemu server including p99. Of course when I zone in and see someone from another guild I'm going to click on them, if they happen to not actually be there, that doesn't mean I hacked.

I have no idea why the server thought I warped, in east freeport of all places where there aren't any teleporters of any kind, but I absolutely did not do it. You honestly think if I had MQ/Showeq that I would have never used it in an actual pvp encounter?

To sum up: you don't have any "proof", you just looked at logs for one player and ignorantly assumed it meant anything. I've never even so much as had MQ or Showeq installed on my computer. If I did don't you think I would have been caught for it on p99 by now?

edit: I also have full screenshots from some of my kills which should prove I never had any other programs running.

That log proves nothing, and I bet you could find similar logs of dozens of people who aren't using MQ to target outside of the possible range.

It's like the "large warp detected" on p99. It doesn't mean you're warping.

While it is true that there are false positives in the log files, they are usually diminished by sheer number of incidents alone.

Quite certainly your odds of tripping the stock detection methods increases concurrently with your play time to a degree, however it certainly does not occur as often as the case of someone like yourself, as the logs show.

Oh, I'm quite aware of this bug and took it into consideration before posting the log. It's pretty easy to quash that theory when the logs dictate this was happening multiple times in the same zone, with multiple minutes between the incidents. Pretty unlikely that you had zoned out and zoned back in between them and saw a new ghost to click on each time.

That was actually the wrong log entry. I will admit the fact that warp detection was likely being set off by the OOT translocator in EFP, however there was another incident in feerrott where this would not be an explanation.

You honestly think if I had MQ/Showeq that I would have never used it in an actual pvp encounter?
Or perhaps you are as incompetent as the rest of the MQ2 kiddies that think they will be able to slip under the radar due to lack of knowledge of the detection methods implemented?

To sum up: you don't have any "proof", you just looked at logs for one player and ignorantly assumed it meant anything.
A valiant attempt to defend yourself, however I remain unconvinced. While the detection system is not perfect, it's easily decipherable when you have such a large sample to analyze as is your case.

Like I said, ghosted mobs at zone in is the obvious exception for exceeding the targeting threshold, but looking at things such as the frequency of the occurrence, the times and repetition to signify that you were remaining in the same zone during those incidents, and even the NPCs in which you were targeting are pretty evident to state that this was much more than simply clicking on npcs that were ghosted on zoning in. I'm also willing to bet that if you traced back to the locations of the entries, the location it marked you as having targeted from would likely not be a zone line.

edit: I also have full screenshots from some of my kills which should prove I never had any other programs running.
That is proof of nothing. A screenshot does not show what happened prior to you taking it, does it?

It's like the "large warp detected" on p99. It doesn't mean you're warping.
The "large warp detected" bug sets off warping detection, something entirely different than what is shown here. Keep white knighting your fellow bluebie hackers bro.

My main was permanently banned from P99 for one MQWarp the day before christmas during a blizzard and terrible lag. If I was guilty, then this wolf dude is obviously guilty as well.

I was presented with similar logs, and the targetting outside of clipline ALL occurred in Kedge (lol).

Bardalicious: you are completely, utterly, full of shit.

While it is true that there are false positives in the log files, they are usually diminished by sheer number of incidents alone.
So release the logs for everyone then. Including yourself.

There are other ways to target things across the zone (like bind sight). I don't know if this would have set it off but I also often toggle back and forth between previous targets, some of which would normally be out of range. I've asked freakyuno if this would set off the mechanism which detects targeting out of range but I haven't gotten a response yet.

That was actually the wrong log entry. I will admit the fact that warp detection was likely being set off by the OOT translocator in EFP, however there was another incident in feerrott where this would not be an explanation.
So the logs show me warping twice in 30+ hours of playtime on that server, once was "the wrong log entry" (???) and the other time was in feerrott. Couldn't this be accounted for by lag or just an error in the warp detection? Do these logs show where I supposedly warped from/to?

Fair enough - but realize that when freakyuno posted about the logs I asked him to name and shame all the people who hacked. If I actually hacked do you think I would have asked him that?

A large sample size is only relevant when you post everyone's logs, and when you can compare with someone who you know for a fact did not hack. Your methodology is stupid. Please come back with better evidence.

This takes stupidity to the level of an art form; if you look at the logs almost none of the mobs I targeted are at all important. It just doesn't add up; why would I use hacks just to target Old Dimshimmer (lol?) from across lesser faydark?

If you have evidence of this, by all means post it.

Bardalicious, if it makes you drop this and admit you have no proof I'll gladly cooperate with you to see what can set off false positives in the detection system.
