I don't think the Gods could be killed by mortal player scrubs. Dragons in EQ are also tiny, Veeshan was the size of Norrath. The Great Divide zone is from her claw mark when she gave life to the planet. So, yeah, we do have dragons but the dragons are weenies. Having said that, Wuoshi can kill me pretty quick when she doesn't like what I have done.

On the contrary, I grew up with Legends and Lore... ie Deities and Demigods. A D&D compendium of heroes, monsters, deities, and, well, demigods. It gave stats to mythological personages like Thor, Zeus, Quetzlcouatl. The most HPs a god ever had was 400 - strong, but even considering the legions of defensive abilities most gods could boast, eminently killable...
