Here is a link. Not sure on timelines for them all. Gotta say, illusion items for non rogues seems minor compared to a 175/20 bow.

GM events will never have illusion items given out again? RIP my dream of one day having an oogly stick and RPing troll bard

Not unless nilbog is convinced that no one really minded that they were used in the first place. Which from the looks of this thread, people liked the idea of useless novelty items as rewards.

I think the original round-up probably happened after my custom werewolf item (which I made to give a werewolf illusion option without the haste/atk buff) had its effect accidentally overwritten by a kunark mob spell, and the owner exploited the change.

Well you make them tame and people bitch. You make them too nice and people bitch. Rogean got chewed out for the lustrous russet on halloween. I got chewed out for a pair of white dragon teeth at my tutorial zone event.

My illusion items were (at the time) a happy medium that made players happy and didn't appear to piss anyone off.

I feel like illusion items are the only acceptable GM event reward items. You don't want to give people super leet gear, but if you give them shitty gear for level 20s they won't care and it will get replaced/sold. Consumables are, meh, because none of them do anything too interesting. Illusions are forever and RP ultimate

I think illusions are the best in lieu of crazy insane OP items. It's the dream of every post guise era neckbeard to win a guise at a GM event. Though I didn't know they stopped being given out. I assume people who got jealous ruined it for everyone. I remember the oogly stick being taken away. Man that would crush me. I might have cried IRL.
