Suggestions for GM Event Reward for Ninik!
 

While everyone is staring at the forums and unable to log in, I wanted to invite a discussion. The guide illusion items were repurposed as GM event rewards for a while but eventually replaced with guises of the deceiver.

Ninik, who is one of the nicest people on the server, never gave it a second thought when her iksar egg reward from the resistance shifting armor suit event in NK was yoinked two years ago. The replacement failed to occur since she already had a guise from the actual camp.

So Nilbog and Ninik and I are looking for suggestions for a suitable alternative reward. The preferred criteria are fun and novel toys that already exist on the server.

Fireworks? Kinda lame but I'm don't actually know of any other GM event given items. Why are illusion items off the table?

Also, are you coming back in a GM capacity or contributor/dev capacity?

Illusion items are off the table because nilbog felt they reduced the legitimacy of the server since they were never actually given out as GM event rewards on live.

If I did anything it would probably be fix a few bugs and maybe do events or something. We've mentioned it briefly but never really discussed it in depth. I stay pretty busy with RL lately.

There is. I don't remember if it was in a private dev forum or on here or the wiki, but there was a fairly long list of things that never made it here.

The NK event was pretty substantial, since we had to restart the server to get the zone to handle the crowd, run a ton of custom scripts to make the wilowisp mobs shift the suit's resistances, and it was the last event I did.

I vote an item custom to this server "Ninik's Spatula" Effect: Summon Cookies.

I would if I could think of some search terms. You have to remember I haven't dealt with EQ items in 4 years. What are some known GM event items?
