NPC Spawn Issue: Spiroc Lord

IB killed him three times one night back in September. I don't know if he has been changed since then as I haven't been playing, but it disproves your theory if he hasn't. I believe the 2nd of the 3 (first respawn) also had either 1 or 2 wingblades wielded. I recall getting 3 total that night.

He seems to repop twice now per 8 hour timer and the loot table is definitely screwey.

If he wields a single blade = 3 pieces of loot: 1 random zone drop, 1 wingblade and 1 isle 5 quest drop

2 wingblades = 4 loot. 2 wingblades, 1 random zone drop and 1 isle 5 quest drop.

No wingblades = 2 items. 1 zone-wide drop and 1 quest item.

Starklen - we're talking about right now. When we started doing the Lord, it was (seemingly) random what he'd show up with and he would continually respawn. Now he only shows up once and doesn't seem to have the blade the second time ever.

Also, we are getting an extremely high percentage of Wiz shoulders and Spiroc Elder's Totems. It could be just bad luck, but it is worth noting.

We get a nice variety so it must be bad luck =*(

No GM response = working as intended.

We've always had horrible luck, so I'm not surprised.

If the GMs need any more information, let us know. Obviously as one of our primary targets as a guild we're up there every week.

I do recall that at one point, the zone crashed when a KoS trigger was killed, causing Ekim Nottap to spawn. Ever since then the spawns of the Spiroc Lord have been off. I can't recall the time frame but if there is any connection between the way mobs spawn in Sky the issue may be there instead of being directly linked to Spiroc Lord.

Bump. Leaving Gaurdian up still does not cause Lord to respawn.

I think everyone can agree that farming the lord is probably not classic (vanilla). Very few guilds killed the SL prior to Kunark. Supposedly a guild on CT cleared all of Sky prior to Kunark but I couldn't find anything about that on the internets. Maybe we are more clever but I think it probably comes down to the facts that melee damage is wrong and stacking DOTs is not vanilla classic (client issue. understood).

Of course I would love to farm the lord all day but ah well.
