The superbowl example is a very loose view of the way I see people act here. A better example I guess would be MMA, Hendricks would still be the champ if Robbie didn't get a re, for instance, or like if someone said Serra is better than gsp because he ko'd him and the story stopped there and no one got to see gsp obliterate serra in a re and go on to have one of the best careers in the sport.
