It's a Chevy Aveo. It does seem like it's made of plastic but whatever the case it's still fucked.

It was a shopping cart, we got some pretty crazy wind in the midwest sometimes...I saw it unfold on the security tapes at the store, we even saw the lazy motherfucker who left his cart next to his car, between ours. They aren't willing to reimburse for the cost of repairs though.

I'm not doubting you but I have to know the manufacturer so I can avoid it like the plague in the future.
story seems fishy. If he said a shopping cart did that to his prius, it would be believable, or that a stray cart totaled his smart car.
