I have never cared about people /inspecting me because I always assume that it was a mistake; it's easy to right-click things when you are trying to mouse-look and end up looting a corpse or inspecting someone. Personally, I turned it off because I prefer not to accidentally inspect people. Someone once inspected me and then offered me a better weapon though, so I wasn't in a mood to complain even when I realised it
wasn't a mistake.
In the end, I don't mind. I'm not ashamed of my gear, even if it might raise a few eyebrows that I prioritised MR and strength over AC.
