This is true of poison/disease-based DoTs, but dispel has always affected the Heat Blood/Pyrocuror line of spells. DoTs are essentially divided into poison curable, disease curable, and dispellable; if you couldn't dispel Pyrocuror, you'd have no way of removing it at all aside from waiting.

It's just the varying number of counters per DoT and per dispel spell that Red99 seems to be missing.

There are issues with the poison/disease counters currently on red. Fixed on Beta.

The previous dispel model, did not have different strengths for spells. They kind of work like counters, but there are some subtle differences.

The revamp to make dispells classic is on beta currently. It will go out to red and blue. No more resisting of dispells. Spells will have different strengths, to work with the different strengths of the dispells. And it will look random sometimes which spell it removes. There is a method behind that madness. Took some effort to figure out.

I will check how dispells are working with illusions like with aon. With some of the other changes to spells, and the fact that dispells will become more important, this will likely be made a non-issue.

buffs have counters, just like curses and diseases, low end dispels weren't capable of removing big boy buffs , like cancel magic wouldn't just remove aego first cast ETC

not magic, theres mechanics.

Didn't read thread.

Make AONs non drop, solve skeleton problem and half your RMT problem. Easy to code.
