Plane of Hate

If you raided PoH during classic I'm sure you are aware of 2nd floor trains. The first time an Ire Ghast feared your ass into a yet unexplored Plane of Hate was pretty terrifying.
I despise Hate. Our guild pulled Maestro, the wretch Grav Flux'es & tosses everyone in the air like a salad. My bard get HT'ed through the floor by the upstairs mobs once I hit the ceiling. And I die in mid air. I'm still to this day baffled as to how that even works. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I always hated Kedge. I did a TON of Phinny kills there. As a cleric I was kind of key for that fight. Whenever anyone wanted me to help on it I was happy to do so - with one proviso... I will zone in and the group will COH me to the phinny pull ledge. I had too many instances where someone said "Of course I know the way there!" only to get us lost and killed.
Hehe. If you remeber Ravenhugin... I used my very first casting of Revive (Ooo I'm L49 I can summon you to your corpse!) in Kedge Keep.

Silly bastard drowned. I thought I would die laughing. He took that revive and was thankful for it.

That's also where I met Tabbakh. He was about dead from drowning. I LoH and he had time to get EB back up.

I remember casting revive on guildies after a raid wipe a few times just to see if they would take it and not notice - Most did and never said jack about it...

Always found it to be the funnest zone to hunt in. First it's all happyhappyhappyhappy there, then you chop down some assling, the music stops for a moment for the course of the violence and brutalities... and then it starts over like nothing ever happened.

*Trumpets and happy music playing, dum di dum...*
Auto-attack on.
*Music cuts off.*
You slash a halfling grandmother for 96 points of damage.
You have slain a halfling grandmother!
Blahblah could not possibly get any worse.
Blehbleh could not possibly get any better.
-- You have looted the crappy silver and copper the assling granny gets for retirement. --
*Trumpets start again, happiness resumes.*

Altho I kind of recall laughing my ass off in guildchat about the halfling grandmother/grandfather not giving a faction hit. Like nobody cares.

I was always scared while leveling in velks, for some reason I was 9 out of 10 times Kirbans target when he randomly popped in, fire off a manaburn, and instagated out til manaburn refreshed. fml.

seeing any familiar Hate/Ruin members in velks always forced me to stare at the combat log waiting to see their name casting. it was stressful.

I played on Tallon Zek. Everyone zone was scary...every 1-2mins you would do /who to check the zone for potential targets or to get ready to flee because you were the potential target.
