What's sad is you don't need an excuse to do these things. You can do them anytime without reason. Again, let me point out the difference between spectating and engaging in an activity. Watching television is not engaging.

To spend your time with your friends listening to fucking retards like Terry Bradshaw and formerly John Madden talking about what you've just seen half spoils it in my opinion.
What's actually sad is you decided to quote only a tiny bit of his post, but his entire post, while attempting to derail and take away from its meaning, is 100% nail on the head.

You're saying that hanging out with people and watching a game is less engaging than sitting in a dark room playing EQ? I get it though, the way you use the word "engaging" is determined by how many hours you put into something. See, what that's called is OBSESSION. You're using the wrong word.

Look, I hate football and love EQ but you sound like the ultimate Neckbeardian of Norrath with this garbage. I like watching the UFC, but I won't go and fight because I'm not a fighter. However, I enjoy being a fan.

This is straightforward logical stuff for regular people, but you've got gargantuan beta males such as yourself that are so into yourself and what you do on a personal level and everyone else who finds excitement in other things must be deluded.
