Only untrue because Jonthan line is self only. Replace with with any other haste + effect song(Anthe de Arms, Villa's Verses of Celerity, McVaxius Berserker Crescendo, Verses of Victory) and this will be true.

I.e. Your wearing FBSS 21% and have Augmentation 26%, and your using Executioners Axe. It procs, you should still get its bonus, on top of your 47% haste.

In this scenario, the Haste buff and the Augmentation buff icons will stack, however the haste portions will not stack. You will gain the +50% haste from Executioner's Axe and the AGI/AC buff of Augmentation, giving you +71% haste. When the Haste proc wears off you will be back to 47% haste.

I believe "overhaste" wasn't introduced until Warsong of the Vah Shir in Luclin which provides 25% v3 haste.

There is a "stackable" haste song in Velious called Melody of Ervaj. I don't think it can put you over the cap, but it stacks with spells + items + other songs I believe. I didn't use it much, think it was pretty much crap.

The exe axe proc is spell haste, and would overwrite your aug in haste %, but you'd keep the benefits of aug (AC? I think :P) so the aug buff would stay on giving the appearance of haste stacking. This is where the confusion tends to lie.

Current classic server example:

You have a chanter and bard in your group

Bard sings: Jonthan's Provocation

I told you that would be the quick way to get a good answer, LOL! Yeah, I never worried too much about it. I've never played a hasting class (*gasp*) and I've always trusted people to know their own job so it's never occured to me to figure it out. And I was remembering the bard overhaste... thus my confusion.

V1 V2 V3, I'm not sure which is which based on the official responses, but the basic idea is~

V1 is item haste
V2 is spell/most songs haste
V3 is stacking bard haste

That is incorrect. V1 (although I dont think it's actually called that), would be song/spell haste.

V2 is from specific bard songs, which stack with V1 but won't put you over the cap of 100% at lvl 60.

V3 is overhaste, which does the same as V2 but isn't capped.
