your neurotransmitters and receptors are TOTALLY out of balance. Those neurons they are spitting around are literally the reason why you think and feel, and yours are completely fucked up. They won't go back to normal and let you have some peace until youve been clean for 6 months - 1 year or more, but while they recover you will start to feel more and more normal as times goes on.

First week is a living, breathing, fucking nightmare. you'll actually experience wanting to die to end pain. its not a good place to be. 2nd week is hell, third week is just a regular nightmare, and from then on it starts getting better fast.
