What I remember from anatomy class: Organs are 2 or more types of tissue that work together to preform a specific function. One of those tissues may or may not be muscle tissue, I don't remember, but it's definitely an organ and those nurses are definitely idiots.

What exactly made you think nurses/cna were intelligent people in the first place? Everyone knows all the intelligent people major in hard sciences, while all the fodder goes for either music/art/literature or medical, without fail.

About a month ago some of the nurses were talking. Night shift nurses are more amusing of course. Somehow the conversation went into this direction.

Nurse 1: Is the penis a muscle?
Nurse 2: I think so, yeah it's a muscle.

actually your skin as a whole is an organ. a penis is made of spongy tissue, not muscle. But it's part of an organ (your entire epidermis).

Pretty sure an anatomy book would say skeletal muscles have nervous, connective, and muscle tissue, making them an organ.
