It was not ok but it was provoked.... if we decide we want to do armor run in either zone hate or fear we always check to see if another guild is there already doing armor runs. If there guild already doing it we dont go up, we play nice as the rules dictate.

when you start acting complete assholes and disrespecting everyone dont be surprised if some one gets upset and does something irrational. we did not want him to do what he did nor do we condone it.

If we're going to start suspending officers, I feel that both officers should be suspended for 7 days - myself and Chest, as both of us could be considered at fault. Me for my apparent complacency, even though I didn't know a train was happening and Chest for breaking every other PnP rule regarding the planes (e.g. avoiding planes while another guild is raiding, training a camp at the zone in, not respecting player requests for a camp [fetids/monkeys], monopolizing zone content).

You can still argue that a week of being unguilded is a strong enough punishment, but does anybody really believe that? I don't.

I tend to agree. Unfortunately it's been made abundantly clear that AE groups are an accepted strategy on this server and not against the rules. I kind of wish they weren't, myself, but what are ya gonna do?


The point being, no rule was broken. Your boy Emsee was quick to point out that my argument was based on opinion, but that's exactly the argument that's happening from the side defending the train: it's not against the rules, but in my opinion the thing BDA did here was mean, therefore they deserved the train. But again, there is nothing in the PNP that says "if someone's being mean to you, you get to train them," and the smart money is TMO would never in a million years agree to make that any kind of a thing (and neither would BDA, and neither would any guild that hopes to ever do anything in this game, because sometimes you have to be the bad guy to get what you need. Within the confines of the rules, of course- a concept every major contender guild on this server is guilty of proving they grasp at some point.)
