I handed in the potion and gold twice to jalen and got stiffed both times no crystal in return! out some precious gold pieces!

Hm, worked fine for me.

Turned in Potion of Sorrow and 1000gp simultaneously and received Empty Crystal Sphere.

Pending update,

Rewrote as multiquestable.
