Moving from blue - Trying to get a feel.

I played on Rallos Zek back in the day, I wasn't real enthused when I saw the numbers on red here so I have been playing on blue ever since. But...I'm getting bored and like in most games I always find my way back to PVP - I have a few questions however.

How is the PVP scene and is there any love for a noob toon trying to get in or is it simply "too late"

Guilds? I find that on small servers especially on PVP games it tends to be a red vs. blue scenario, 1 guild vs another, is this true of red?

I started writing thinking I had a lot more questions on this but truly, I think I'm about to pass out. I will do a bit more forum snooping tomorrow, but any answers / encouragement will be appreciated. I look forward to killing, and being killed!

Its a long road to 60 and if pvp is mainly what youre looking for, you should find another game to play.

You lose 1 blue each time you die at 58 and it takes you about an hour grind to get it back.

So if youre thinking about settling in, having a pvp session where you die maybe 5 times in 3 hours, thats 5 hours of solid grinding just to get to the point where u were before in PVE.

Its mainly <Full retard> vs <Nihilum> and Nihi are PVEers so by default not alot of action. And nobody really wants alot of action cuz that means harsh xp loss.

Nihilum are PvE'rs, yea, nightly raids. But guess what happens after raids? PvP. Guess what happens unscheduled, sporadically, throughout the day? PvP. Guess who calls raids intentionally for shitting on the competition in PvP? Nihilum does.

Server DOES have it's problems, but it's still a lot of fun to play on. Nightly PvP battles, in fact last night there was a giant battle in KC/DL. Didn't hear anyone porting out or begging for mercy because they were gonna lose exp.

Seemed more like a 3v3 against Thrilla, Oddjob, and Phaedra. Big thing for the server nowadays, I know.

What i hate on this fucking server is how alot of people will say the most ridiculous shit just to "win" an argument.

The only player that killed me maybe 5 times+ is, ironically, Troriste.

I may not be the best player to get people dead, but i dont die alot. I gauge situations, i even told you it was not the best idea to gather in lavastorm when we were raiding sol B, letting anyone porting in know that we were about to hit it. Thats not the judgement of a bad player, of someone who throws himself into battle without thinking. Tactical advantages, yeah? Or wait that was when i was with Vae Victis... anyway.

Youre just being a dishonest little shit, you know full well that if you have a big battle like we had when i was with you in founding father, 20v20 vs nihilum in lavastorm, somebody has to die. If you keep at it, 20v20 for 3 hours, somebody has to get these 5 deaths, its mathematical. So if you almost never die, it means that these big exciting battles dont happen alot, if at all or you pussy out at 75% and gate. But my guess is that nobody on the server has solid pvp hours daily. Nobody has a ratio of 30mins PVE vs 4h30 PVP on a 50-60 character nightly, I dont beleive it.

Road to 50 will be a long boring one(if youre looking to have pvp on the way up), and once there he will find that its 95% pve and 5% pvp.

Andis If you wanna prove me wrong, and show me a zone where pvp happens alot more than "a group gets killed, group leaves to somewhere else" ill give u the 5k i got on my account.

Sorta like a Red99 embedded journalist. Dont you want 5k? I dare you to let me follow your group around for hours, multiple evenings a week for that fabled exciting red99 pvp and ill give you all the coins i got.

Im not acting out of bitterness like these "burn it down" people whove posted threads here in the past, its just i wanna save these guys the waste of time if what they are looking for is a balanced ratio of PVE vs PVP

If you are looking for PVE with a sprinkle of pvp on the side, again, server might be for you

there will be no love unless you transfer money from blue and buy stuff here ( Very possible )

expect to solo or play a solo class and unless you level in unrest dont expect any pvp till later.

you will be welcomed in one of the two guilds once you are around 50 however , depending on your play style or attitude you will make that choice if you stick it out.

population is low which means nothing is contested but you are often lacking key group classes for pve or pvp , is it worth sticking it out? id say yes if you dont pick a penalty class

with a big emphasis on dont pick a penalty class.

if i didnt pick a penalty class id probably still be playing myself.
