Default Missing component with Bards Mezz songs

Starting with : Crission's Pixie Strike mezzing also has a pulling part.

Meaning, that each pulse that a mob is mezzed it is also pulled in the direction that the bard is facing.

I used this alot in Classic EQ to seperate mobs and then place them.
This saves a lot of precious seconds when A new target is needed among 3 or 4 mobs that are mezzed.

I cant find any reference of this on Allakhazam nor LUCY. :-)

But it is clearly stated in Reed's Bards Sheet:

http://home.comcast.net/~rlorenson2/BardSong.5.4.xls

And I am sure that all bards that played classic EQ will confirm this.

I have been using this Bard Bible since the year 2000.

I am am sure u can use it for a lot of info on bards.

Thanxs a lot if you could look into this.

What Spirou says is true! I had forgotten when the pushback or pullback effects of mez songs started, but I guess it was from there.

http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.htm...41&setcookie=1 shows that it should have a push of `2`. I remember using this to pull the Rosh Mal Gnoll that hangs on the ledge above the room passed double doors in paw so as to not cause a huge train. I knew something was missing!

cheers

Can confirm this. I used it many times to seperate and place mobs. It wasn't much, it was about a full step.

Maelgwyn laid the harp in Dafydd's good arm. "Here. What are the people of the cat without their bard?"

A chord sprang out of the strings, impaling the listener on a spear of sound. Another and another followed, sounds a harp couldn't make but did. "Who says there's no such music?" Dafydd challenged.

Smile Hey this is pretty old.. any updates?

Managing a pack of mobs with a 3-tick mez that takes 3 secs to cast was so *so* much easier when you could safely control their placement just a little bit.

If it's not been changed yet... Is this a bug (trouble getting the -3 pushback implemented) or a stealth nerf? In other words, should we ever expect these spells to work the way they did on live?

EDIT: After searching through many, many threads (apparently bards are as hard to manage in p99 as they were on live), it seems that it has been fixed (http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...s+Pixie+Strike).

I was super confused by this thread until I see that all posts except the last one are from 2010, as mez already does push mobs.
