Alt-tabbing out of game causes the game to go into windowed mode

Hey guys, whenever I alt-tab out of the game causes me to be put into windowed mode when I come back. Not a HUGE issue, but I have to manually set it to Fullscreen mode each time (I know the alt-enter hotkey, but sometimes it doesn't work). From what I'm reading on the forums, it seems to be a problem with the 1920x1080 resolution? Is this a normal thing that everyone experiences? If not, what can I do to fix it? I appreciate the help!
