Default Should not be able to cast on town front guards

This was a change made even before Kunark.

Currently these are used to trivialize the Tangrin encounter in Field of Bone and effects all trooper and crusader mobs.

verb (used with object)
10.
to produce as an effect; bring about; accomplish; make happen: The new machines finally effected the transition to computerized accounting last spring.

Zereh is correct. Try plugging the synonyms for 'effect (v)' into your phrase...

"and produces as an effect all trooper and crusader mobs."
"and brings about all trooper and crusader mobs."
"and makes all trooper and crusader mobs happen."

Quote:
Though we do not have a problem with players choosing to hunt guards, the newbie guards themselves, specifically the ones at the gates of cities and in the vicinity of newbie zones, need to remain alive under most circumstances. To that end, we have buffed up these newbie-protecting guards, made them immune to magic, and given them some pretty good healing properties, in order to make them less attractive to people hunting them.

Note: this did effect all guards in wars woods and field of bone. Easy to verify this, compare the humongous hp values of the guards -- they should all be magic immune.

Confirm this has enough research? Seems like an easy one too.
