![]() Hi guys,
I have downloaded the Titanium torrent, but the files are in "NTI iso" format which tries to burn to CD/DVD when I open them. I really do not know what to do with these files now that I have them downloaded. I am sure it is due to my PC ineptitude that I am unable to figure out how to install this torrent on my computer after having downloaded the 5 discs. I tried to install the "Daemon347" program which came with the files but it says it is incompatible with Win7 and is unable to install. If anyone could help a computer newb it would be greatly appreciated! -J.P. Nubblesworth

![]() Should be pretty quick. Download a version of Daemon Tools that works with Win7. I think all you need is the trial/free version. http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/downloads It'll act as if you were running the discs from your CD/DVD rom. There's probably some sort of readme file that came with the titanium torrent that kind of explains this better. It basically involves mounting each disc within Daemon and then running it.

![]() Not sure if you're still having problems with this (and hopefully this post might help someone else in the future), but you basically have two options to install the client:
1) An ISO is a disc image file. You could double-click each .iso file and let Windows Image/Disc Burner (or whatever it's called) burn each .iso to a CD. This program is only included with Windows Vista and Windows 7, no older versions of Windows. You would then use those CDs to install the game the way you normally would if you purchased the game from a store. 2) You can mount each .iso to a virtual drive and install from there. There are many programs that can do this, but my favorite is MagicISO/MagicDisc. It's freeware and can be found here. Basically you install the program and it drops a little disc icon into your system tray. Right-click on that icon, go to virtual drive and select "Mount". Then browse to the Disc 1 .iso file. Now, open up Computer/My Computer and you should see a new drive letter under optical drives. Open it to explore the .iso image as if it were a CD and find the setup .exe. Run that, and just repeat the process for mounting the other Discs 2-5 as the EQ Titanium setup asks for them. Also, I would avoid using DaemonTools or whatever they're calling it now. It used to be a great program but I've heard that they've apparently started integrating spyware into the version they offer now. Desperate for cash, I guess.

![]() Hi,
I had the same problem running with windows 7 and using the latest version of Daemon Tools did the trick however I am still having another related issue so figured I would post here rather than add another thread. Windows 7 won't allow the copying of files directly to the Everquest folder in program files. I have managed to get most of the changes made by going into notepad as administrator and copying and pasting the text from the downloads but I am having a problem with the spells-us.txt folder. When I extract the spells-us zip file the text looks like this; I copied and pasted the above although it did not look anything like the file it was replacing but once I logged into the game it tells me that my level 1 spell is level 255 and uses 1hb? Do you know how I can fix this? Thanks

You shouldn't be having any trouble copying, deleting or moving files in the EverQuest program folder in Windows 7, unless, possibly, you're not logged in as Administrator and all non-admin users have been denied the right to install or remove programs. Either log out and log back in under an Administrator account to make the changes, or if you don't want to do that this page tells you how to run the Windows File Explorer with Admin privileges. Once you do that, you should be able to copy and replace files in the EverQuest folder. And I would forget about copying text into and out of files unless you absolutely have to; you're just liable to mess something up! Good luck and let me know how it goes!

![]() Thanks for the advice.
Turns out that I had admin access but I needed to make myself the owner of the SONY folder in order to be allowed to modify it. Thankfully this fixed my problems and I am on my way back to EQ.
