Q: why would someone type so many "1"s? (at first glance it seems like pretty obvious RAGE but could there be another reason?)

HINT: he sat down on regular intervals too (................. which is of course bad for pvp business)

Could be running some sort of keyboard macro that skills up sense heading or who knows what else. When you try to type, it will still throw up 1s etc.

His keyboard could be jammed. I have a similar problem because someone spilled milk in my keyboard, and so occasionally it spams certain keys over and over.
