Default New to P1999 pvp, what is the etiquette of pvp encounters

Hello, my wife an I have recently joined the server in anticipation of kunark and simply for a change of scenery as a Paladin and Druid.

I played most my time on Live on Tallon Zek and know there were some things we tried to follow such as general loot and scoot, not engaging while fighting mobs etc, or is this more of a Sullon Zek, free for all, where training is accepted etc etc.

Also is it standard that when you kill someone for a camp(or get killed) for them to continue the battle until someone's will is broken or to move along?

Any other information about the ways of this server would be helpful.

Thanks

It depends on the individual and the guild really. I myself do not random attack people for no reason unless they have attacked me in the past first, or if Im backing up a guildmate who is pvping (for whatever reason). If ive been jumped by certain people, I will go out of my way to attack them when I ever hear of their location in game. Price to pay for attacking the big dog Tr0llb0rn.

Reputation means a lot more here then on blue.

The only thing disallowed is training. There is no enforced policy for stuff like loot and scoot.

You can kill people for a camp, or you can make friends with them. Killing people can be problematic as reputation comes into play. You may attack the wrong person who happens to be the RL sister of a guild leader months later.

Have to weigh your options. Once you join a guild, you can pretty much attack anyone that is kos to your guild.

You are only allowed to gank the small people (halflings, gnomes, dwarves)

This works if you are content to lurk in upper guk (or in Jibekns case, Unrest) forever.

About it.
