Old player returning after years.

Greetings everyone!

Figured I would introduce myself to everyone since this is a much tighter community than the old servers!

First off my name is Jim, in game names thus far are Kaven the mage and Ginjiro the monk. I am a father of two, happily married for going on 5 years and just recently bought our first house together. Life is good [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

I played since the first week of EverQuest up until a few weeks into the LDoN expansion. I have raided the vast majority of content up to that point and would love to do it again in the near future! Been a gamer as long as I can remember and EQ stands right at the top for one of the best games I have ever played. The experiences and friends I made will never leave my memories. I played on the Nameless server (Shout out to Tigole and the whole LoS Crew [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] ) Played a Wood-Elf Warrior (yes, thats right, a wood-elf...don't judge me they were prettier than the other races dammit!)

Just wanted to end this off with a huge thank you from the developers, contributors and all the great people that can make this experience what it is. I have ran into a huge number of helpful people willing to share stories, experiences and knowledge of content that I forgot in my nearly decade break from the game. I hope I get to meet each and every one of you out there in the lands of Norrath and share a little chunk of this great game with you. God Bless and Safe Travels adventurers! did you have any trouble getting the eqemu to give you a validation email and or a login name?

@ Taiku Heya! My name on my old account on live was actually Yulean so a little different. Hopefully we do run into a eachother, soon enough we will be in the same zones I think = )

@ NarsisticaI had no issues at all. My best friend also came back, needed a IP exemption for his girlfriends computer and it arrived in a day and a half. Not sure why you might be having any problems. I also recieved my validation within 30 minutes.

I haven't received any ip exemption validation in over a week... my ip exemption hasn't even been viewed at all in the last week. It's great you are being catered to.... but not everyone is.....

Ip exemptions are not required to play

Ip exemptions are required if there's 2 people playing so, yeah, yeah they are required...

Not everyone is a single child being taken care of by mommy and or daddy,a college student, or a bachelor/bachelorette.

IP Exemptions are required to play when you have two human beings who have two computers and only one router. Humans who do not want to have to run some program to change their IP to china or something just so they can play a game together.
