Default Bard mez has high fail rate

Ever since the patch, both version of bard mez (AoE and single target) have an unacceptably high fail rate. With high charisma, I am still experiencing in excess of 75% failure on dark blue cons. This effectively makes bard useless as crowd control, and takes away one of the big utilities which bards are recruited to group for.

The ae mez has a very high failure rate after a certain level in classic. Also charisma has nothing to do with mez resist rates. As for the targeted mez, I play a Bard and have noticed no problems with either song of twilight or crission's pixie strike, both of which I use regularly on the Blue/Red servers respectively. There is no way you have a 75% failure rate on crission's pixie strike fighting dark blues unless the dark blues are level 56 or higher (where they'd be immune to stuns).

I have had nothing but trouble with Crission's Pixie Strike, as well. And not on level 56 or higher mobs.

Well then turn on /log and test because my own leveling experiences on both servers lead me to be skeptical of what you're saying.

How long have you been 60 on Giegue? Your levelling experiences don't seem relevant... at all.

I find it weird that the ae bard mez will 100% be resisted on greens even when 50+ lvls lower thats just downright unreal

why not just remove the song altogether since its useless now?

That's how it was in classic, just research it yourself. When you first get it it's still useful so I'm not sure what you're complaining about. Lots of spells become useless at higher levels. Are you going to complain that Jaxon's Jig of Vigor should be removed from the game?

Are you talking about the AE mez song that was such a gigantic farce that the developers were humiliated after popular rage necessitated a very public and laughable test of it? And because of that it was changed?

You know here on P99 the developers do change Classic mechanics from time to time when they have been demonstrated to be too overpowering. Is it too much to ask that they do the same for broken items that are mistakenly underwhelming as well?
