Server connection issues

Getting the error message "The server is not responding" when i log a character in, can get in to the selection screen fine?

Any idea's?

Was the original post, posted here as its more suited, thankyou tailz for the suggestions so far.

Only thing that has changed is updated avast.

So list view;

• Avast update
• Change of Internet location
• Exemption added for EQ folder since avast sends it straight to the virus vault
