I posted the rules prematurely - didn't realize nilbog and rogean were still rewording a few things etc. I am glad you posted this. It was much, much better than no response while it is being worked on. Thank you for coming and shedding light on the issue at hand. Usually when things are being revised we hear nothing, hence the complaints and where the "world burners" gain much of the fuel for their posting.

The fact still remains that you guys are crying awfully hard about this. It's a serious issue, sorry people on both sides are making a big deal about it. It decides hours a night of raiding.

Nothing is stopping you (or is there), for instance, from shutting down a zone while issues are being addressed because no one will play nice. Or in the case of blue, enforcing a rule like raid mob rotations each week for players that they have a 24 hour window after spawned to kill. Personally? If I had the power to do so? And people were saying "he can't do shit?", people like Uthgaard would cringe witnessing my personal wake up call to the masses. Stop letting the crazies run the nut house.

I'm going to lock this thread because it's degenerated into "the gm's are retards who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. Lock more threads, suspend more people who post RNF material in server chat. Enforce actual forum bans for people who commit the same crime on another account.

You fail to see that we GENUINALLY want you to be happy and enjoy the server. You want to and try to. Others with certain powers want us to be happy but do nothing, especially on serious issues. Seriously. we do Seriously.. but it's like null We need just a bit more of this guy and some Rogean fixes and things will be so much better off. Like, night and day difference said. Our emu servers are like a couple of free hostels in a town full of free hostels. Our hostels are much nicer and we have the pool, tennis courts and go-carts. We want you to enjoy our nice things for free but the more you shit it up the less desire any of us have to put any energy into making it nice or even keeping the door open. After taking the issues up with management, I've decided its best I leave the hotel. On my survey I'd write the staff who were available were very friendly.

When the players are listened to? Good things happen.... that said, tt should be very, very easy to tell people who want to help apart from people trolling. The XP bonus was 20% flat on servers that had XP loss in PvP. This was classic and defensible from that stand point, it was also needed to help low level players. The curve was a good idea because it also addressed the population issue. I saw the population hit 168 I believe on the main page (while checking for patch notes), I'd like to think the XP helped. New players DO continue to come to this server. What needs to be in place are things that make them want to stay.

These are things like (gentlemen start your RNF engines):

1. Getting Harrison and Steaks off the boards. Seriously if Uthgaard is going to be branded for terrorizing the forums and doesn't play here anymore? Let's hold them to the same standard, especially considering they haven't contributed 0% in comparison to him.

2. Rogean needs to give global ooc a TRY, I think the 15 minute timer on being able to ooc is a good idea. Putting something in to make people at least feel like they are being listened to or something is being done goes a long way.

3. RMT'rs getting their balls broken. Huge threat to the project that can be ignored no longer. Even if it's fine now, people will eventually try and use it to hurt the server one way or another. Count on it.

We recently saw Uthgaard who maybe even before the players and staff put the integrity of the server first. Things on blue and red in the raid scene and with RMT have reached critical mass, and as such, I'd guess critics have been increasingly harsh and vocal - him being the loudest. I saw that as an attempt to stir the pot enough to get something done, maybe he'd tell you he was just trying to beat down the project, some how I doubt you'd hear that or it was his intention.

Try not to forget that you, the staff are really the people who hold all the cards, not raid leaders or people who think they have dirt on you. The example set by Uthgaard was for players to shut their mouth and know their role when it comes to communicating with the staff. You couldn't send him a long stream of fuck you tells or lawyer rules all night with him and make him a nervous wreck, he'd fuck you up.

It's time for you guys to kick some ass and set things straight.
