![]() Hey all,
I just wanted to get your all's opinion on what I need to be going for on my druid as far as stats go. I know obviously wisdom is the most important, but should I focus on wisdom to the point that I ignore other stats (sta, ago, dex, etc.) or is there a good mix somewhere in between? I'm not the kind of player who wants to mix melee with spell casting, so the only thing I can really think would be important besides wis would be sta so I can stay alive longer and agi so that maybe I can dodge a blow or two.. Anyways, just wanted to hear what you all thought. Thanks!

![]() Well starting out i wouldn't think wisdom is so important then and there..Maybe some hp and mana items? Wisdom is useful in maybe the 20s to start. Hope this helped in some way

![]() wisdom and mana... i could have 20 health as long as i had enough mana to kite... learn your distances for spells, how far you should be from mobs when casting, get comfortable with camera switching, these are all very useful tools for soloing. As far as groups, still wisdom and mana, the more heals you can pump out the better (but also counters with long med times without crack). The higher levels you get, the more you will learn to balance the wisdom formula with mana, tip toe'ing proper stat proportions.

![]() Depends on the race you choose, and whether you will be joining a guild. I put 15 into wisdom and 15 into stamina when I started. When I got to level 30, I regretted not going 25 wisdom. Now that I'm 60 and fully geared, I'm happy with my stat allocation decision.

![]() That's the issue. Wisdom is an easy stat to cap, especially with the soft cap at 200wis. If you are gear dependent, you will want the wisdom, if you can get to 200wis through twink items, you are going to want to focus more on hps, maybe STR to carry loot, or maybe CHA (I can't remember how much druid charm is dependent on CHA anymore).

![]() I would suggest WIS and STR. Races that can play Druids are not notorious for their strength, and unless you want to spend a lot of time in mesh, or are a twink, weight is going to be an issue.
STA is not that relevant to me. In a group you should be managing your aggro and not getting hit, and solo you should not be getting hit at all. If you do get hit, you have heals. If you get hit a lot, you will learn how to kite properly faster.

![]() STA will matter when you start having to deal with AoEs. Then you'll wish you had all the HPs you can.

![]() Druids also get a STR buff. I need to keep mine on constantly, but that is a minor inconvenience.

![]() Mainly wis and mana. Stamina and resists certanly don't hurt.
I would recommend against STR. Once you have the misty thicket port it's easy to just teleport there to bank and then gate back to where you were. Once you get some decent weight reduction bags your encumberance isn't really a factor in normal play, only when farming cash dropping mobs. If you're out and about specifically farming serious cash dropping mobs, feel free to wear a thick banded belt or something. For general play though, not needed. Again, even if you don't, you can just port and gate back when you're loaded down on cash. Even as a wood elf druid with no creation points in str and very little +str gear, I was still able to load up on cash at HGs in rathe for a few hours before I felt I needed to port and bank so it really isn't a big deal. Destroy the silver/copper etc occasionally.
