Should I accept pp for buffs?

Being a shaman means people ask for sow/buffs and all. I never accept "donations" from players even if they are twinks w fungi tunics.
Considering I am a lvl 32 w about 1000pp to my name, should I feel guilty for accepting money for buffs?
Maybe its a pride thing, what do you people think?

If someone puts money in a trade window I'll usually hit accept. I always say donations aren't necessary but some people don't like handouts, so I oblige them. The vast, vast majority of times though folks just say 'thanks' and hustle off.

You should certainly accept donations for buffs. Use the money to donate to others if/when you ask them for spells.

I like to tote around 150pp or so minimum so I have room to hit people for tips as needed. As an ENC people donate to me for c2 all the time. That just means I have a little more onhand cash and can tip more for that next port or ress or whatever.

Also it's a perfectly valid way to make some money if you're poor.

sounds like a matter of personal preference, if some1 wants to toss me a few plat for a sow or an invis in a trade window i usually hit accept, you can always have it on hand for a rez or a port later on. but even a simple /thank /bow or /tt ty is worth spending a few mana

I normally just hit cancel when the window pops open for my buffs. Its just mana.

But I also see nothing wrong with accepting donations. Now requesting or requiring them is another story.

I reject all donations unless the player is roughly equivalent level to me, twinked, or in a raid guild.

But I'm in a situation where I don't really *need* money persay, I have most of the gear/clickies that I want. At level 32 as a non twink nah don't feel bad accept the donations they give imo.

I'd say you are slightly poor for a level 32... Take the monies, especially if you are out exping. Its your mana, and the less you have available the less exp you gain; so yes, make them pay for your time.

You should not feel guilty at all.

I will add however that when you make a buff class you should expect to get asked for buffs and you should provide them. That is your role in Norrath.
