Miscellaneous: Feign Death and quest turn-ins

Players are not able to turn in items for a quest reward while feigning death.

Previously, I could turn in money (for those quests requiring only money, e.g. Fabian's Strings in East Freeport) or items (Muffins to Pandos in West Freeport, Bottle of Red Wine in Neriak, countless others) while FD and receive the reward, faction hits, etc. As of roughly a month ago, this appears to have stopped working. I've tried a few quests that work normally while standing (even at less than indifferent faction), and consistently get nothing while FD.

It was pretty well-known on Live that this was a viable way for Monks, Necromancers, and Shadow Knights to complete quests they weren't normally able to due to faction. I'm assuming this is known to the developers and should be working, but I'd be happy to dig up proof if needed.

Feign death turn ins did not work by the time epics rolled around. I'm not sure if FD turn-ins were even classic.

I remember specifically because certain epic quests allow for invis turn ins (Get invis once trade window is open). If FD would've worked, then the SKs doing their epic would never have had a need for invis turn-ins.

I got 2nd epic on Fennin ro - I bypassed the faction by getting invis on all my epic turnins. I did this for 2 other SKs epics as well. FD turnins didn't work, otherwise myself and other SKs wouldn't have had to do it with invis.

Okay, my memory is probably faulty, then. I did find some evidence online that this was possible, but it wasn't clear which era it applied to.

Sounds like something that should absolutely be fixed if it was in fact not classic, but I don't remember seeing it mentioned in patch notes. Oh well.

No, NPCs are supposed to eat items handed in while FD. Fixed, pending update.
