Default Location-Specific Music

So recently I discovered why my old haunts felt off: Qeynos, Blackburrow, etc aren't playing the old music I remember hearing while running around/to/from them. I saw the old thread about restoring EQ's classic music, but that thread seemed to end without any real progress on addressing why so many of the in-game themes stopped playing.

Is there any way to force the game to re-recognize the song files for particular towns or am I SOL on that front?

Nope, it has to do with the engine and changes to the engine that were made since the classic days.. and P99 tries to use the way it used to be but it doesnt work anymore... long story short.. as of now its impossible to get it to play properly... you will sometimes run into spots where it will start playing all of a sudden..

I know its a bummer [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] but hopefully some day this will get resolved.
