How do I...
1) Get this started on my computer?
2) Find out if the Kunark discs serve me to get the game loaded? 3) Get one of you much smarter than I to get all the right files in all the right places on my computer? 4) Find out what it costs? 5) Help figure out all the bard bugs if/when I get back to the game. 6) Tell my wife that "um yeah ... I'm playing EQ again" ... Damn, Jordail, if you read this and then my wife reads this she is gonna hunt you down, you have been warned... | ||

To get EQEMU in general running, read this.

Thanks Big,
Answered a few of the questions...the big one is still number 3 and it made me think of another: Will this require the systems reqs of the newest expansion or the classic? Every expansion after velious caused me fits because I always was short a driver, RAM, Vid Card... I have played other games and been ok but EQ always seemed to be the death of my patience. It always needed something "extra" to work...and I should also say I am not qualified to "just copy and past that .exe file into this folder"...comes from graduating college before Al Gore invented the internet... Thanks Lindz, but I know my wife will never play, she would have picked it up by now with EQ2, CoH, Guild Wars, WoW or DDO...heh | ||
