Default Switching from EZ to PVP not so easy...

Excuse my lack of knowledge but I'm not the most tech savvy person. I had started playing P99 and recently switched to EZ server for the past few months. My moron of a roommate tried to switch back and just tried to download the newest P99 patch. That didnt work. When he tried to log on it just says he needs the newest files. So now on my computer, I havent done a thing. It's still the same EQ folder with whatever EZ files I've added when I started playing that server.

Does anyone have any idea what I should do in order to be able to play the new PVP server?

Some servers patch your eqgame.exe, which means unless you have a back up you'll need a fresh install

i have 2 eqfolders for different emu-servers.

so just rename your ez-eqfolder and reinstall. this way u can keep your ezserver settings and install a new clean copy for p99

dont forget that your old eqexe-shortcut will direct you to the new install. this means u will have to make a new shortcut from the renamed ez-eqfolder if u wana play on ez too
