Game Mechanics: Monk Mending Exploit

Monks can mend again every time they cross a zoneline. I'm pretty sure this problem also applies for Harm Touch.

Will this be addressed soon?

If I try and use mend after zoning, it will grey out and say I need to wait however much time.

What zones is this happening in for you. I think perma frost was still broken,but havent seen anything about it lately.

The button resets, the timer does not. Zone lining does not reset mend cooldown.

A little late to this party. This was fixed quite a few months ago.

The button does "refresh", but if you try to use it before the timer is finish it will grey out for the full period.

I think the reversion back to the grey out had to do with this.

I never actually checked to see how it worked after it was reverted or fixed since I don't play a monk but when I did create an alt to make that bug report I had zoned back and forth 18 times and had hit mend 18 times in a matter of just a few minutes, maxing my skill. The mend ability actually worked as opposed to the button just popping up.

Draulius, can you provide more information such as zonelines and if the mend ability actually works? There are a lot of conflicting pieces of evidence in this thread already.

I'll confirm everytime I've tried to use mend after i zone out and its not grey after i know i just used it that it does go back to grey and give you a timer message.

Same, I zoned 10 different zones and it pops the button up and tells me that I have suchandsuch time till its up,and greys out.

Of course it doesn't pop up when it says I'm able to use it.
