Spells: Possibly a couple of missing raid-dropped velious spells.

A few spells were added to various classes as drops from specific raid bosses in very late Velious. (Nov 2001) This is what I've found so far:

Conglaciation of Bone:

This one seemed to have shown up alongside some Luclin spells in this spells list in Nov 2001, which was probably ripping them from a newly updated spells-us.txt preparing for Luclin? Although both Conglaciation of Bone and Dementing Visions show up lower down on the list before most of the Luclin spells, alongside spells that currently do exist on P99 like Incinerate Bone.

Dropped from Derakor the Vindicator, Jorlleag and a few trash spiders in velks

Some Casters Realm claims that Dementing Visions was dropping ~month before Luclin -

I got this spell off Tormax a couple weeks back but haven't seen anything about it on any websites. Nor have we seen it drop since . . It's basically Dementia without the stun and can be partially resisted rather than a full resist.

If I remember correctly the scroll read "insidious visions" but it does scribe in as "dementing visions". I think it's level 58but since it's morning my mind is a bit foggy atm . .

Is this spell just rare? And when did it even get put into the game?

Got the spell off Aaryonar. I put it in my spell book and was happy to have 2 600+ DD spells.

I only use either when soloing and that just doesn't happen often.

Did 14498 damage to Vulak'Aerr with a combination of Asphyxiates (6k) and Dementing Visions (8.5k).

That certainly aren't numbers comparable to a Wizard with Dragonsbane, but I do feel like I contributed to the fight beyond just buffing.

Dementing Visions has MUCH lower resists on things that require MR debuffing to hit at all. You won't notice this if you're fighting with a group in Velk's or OS where your spells generally land without debuffs, but in the Temple of Veeshan it's a very differnent story.

Yes I picked this spell up from Aaryonar a few weeks back. Had been wondering if it had made any appearances on other servers as it's the only one on mine I can find. Heh was starting to get a little paranoid to post since no one else seemed to have it and I quite dig it.
